Paulina was the first Eastern European female model to land the cover of the Sports Illustrated swim-suit issue.
Another fun fact, Paulina is married to Ric Ocasek, lead singer of The Cars and also of Czech descent.

At least when the Knicks aren’t winning, they still know how to have decent fun off court. It’s great to see players that still have a very humble attitude, not letting the fame destroy their youth or dedication to their team…or to basketball in general, for that matter.

I was at my friend’s house playing some board games the other day, when I thought of a fabulous idea! Carrie Bradshaw, that too-fashionable Manhattan maiden, needs a paper doll made after her!
Think of all of the clothing options this paper doll would have!
There could be one book of outfits from each of the movies, and then one book from each season. If you really wanted to go all out, you could do a book for each of the main characters. These dolls would keep you busy for hours!
I thought this idea was too good to be original, but after extensive Google searching, this is the only Carrie Bradshaw paper doll I could find.

On this day in history, February 17, in 1996, world chess champion Garry Kasaprov defeated Deep Blue, IBM’s chess-playing computer.
It’s important to remind ourselves of these victories in the technology age, especially in the wake of Ken Jennings’ recent fall to IBM computer, Watson. The buzzer-beating computer beat Jennings in Jeopardy by answering in correctly for a prize total of $77,147 (Jennings bringing in $24,000 and third (human) contestant Brad Rutter reaching $21,600).
Has this recent defeat of the humans marked a turning point in the relationship between man and machine? Are we no longer superior to or merely dependent upon our chip-brained counterparts…but now…inferior and subservient?
Only time will tell. As long as things don’t turn out like Terminator, I’m sure we’ll be fine…Until next time, I’ll be back.

Congrats to Matt Stone and Trey Parker, South Park’s creators, for standing up for their first amendment rights after Comedy Central recently censored one of their episodes.
The episode was censored after Islamic fundamentalists threatened the comedy duo for including likenesses of Muhammad.
And a major tisk to Seth MacFarlane.
Their “defiance” has nothing to do with defending a joke, but defending a right that we all take for granted.
Jon Stewart had some great comments though.
