The 60’s did a lot for the progression of mankind.

It was the era of:
Civil Rights reformation, great horror movies (Psycho, Rosemary’s Baby and Night of the Living Dead — of course), Stan Lee comics and men walking in space.

And in 1966, the way that children would celebrate and understand Halloween would change forever, thanks to one cartoon: It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

And kids these days have it easy! They no longer have to wait for the cartoon to come on ABC or for their parents to track down the family’s cherished VHS copy that was video recorded in 1986…Nope. Now we can all watch the classic cartoon on Hulu and celebrate the real spirit of Halloween.

I knew the innernetz wasn’t all bad.
